It has been a busy month here at the Adelsberger household. We all spent the last weekend taking care of each other as we passed the flu around. We are also busy getting ready for spring. Kristi has planned a large garden for us this year and we are planning to try and make maple syrup for the first time. We have also had the opportunity to buy some used beekeeping equipment earlier thru a friend and we are working on getting the hives ready for the bees in April. The hives all needed cleaned, sterilized, new foundation put in the frames and a fresh coat of paint. We also got a puppy two weeks ago, her name is “Bree” and we are still trying to adjust to an extra family member running around the house. So you can see our hands are quite full.
Since our visa’s were denied in December we have been praying about what the Lord had in store for us. Right before Christmas MMS offered me a permanent position with the mission as a “Production Mechanic”. We are quite excited to announce that after much counsel from people we love and respect and much prayer we accepted the position on Monday. We will continue to require the financial support of Churches and individuals to continue service here at MMS. I am excited to have the opportunity, I have found that MMS fills a gap in mission aviation that no one else does. MMS is currently working on projects for a mission in Brazil and Honduras, we are also working on a trainer plane for Moody’s Aviation school. I just completed some repairs to an airplane that belonged to a gospel singer and an alteration to an aircraft the belongs to Gospel Carriers International.
I hope that you will consider visiting us. We love having company and a visit from you would be such a blessing. Thank you for your many prayers, gifts and words of encouragement that make what we do possible. Josh
